Sponsoring the Digital Future: Initiative to Train 1,000 Iraqi Programmers in AI

Believing in the importance of supporting and empowering programmers as the essential pillar in building the digital future, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Al-Khwarizmi Center for Artificial Intelligence to sponsor the 'Training 1,000 Programmers' initiative, where Dar Al-Mazaya Organization for Youth Development served as the official sponsor.

This initiative was not just a passing training program, but a true scientific path aimed at qualifying a new generation of technical talents. During the program, trainees were granted official scientific certificates in the field of Artificial Intelligence under the supervision of a group of elite university professors and specialists.

Investing in young minds is the most important investment for building a more advanced and creative future for our beloved country.

"The true wealth of Iraq is not oil or natural resources, but its youth. Youth who possess the minds and only need someone to open the doors for them."

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ladies and gentlemen, creative youth of Iraq... Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

I am honored to stand among you today at this gathering marking the completion of the first phase of the initiative to train 1,000 Iraqi programmers, this qualitative initiative launched by the Al-Khwarizmi Center for Artificial Intelligence to be the beginning of a national journey in the world of technology and digital transformation.

Dear friends... When we talk about Iraq, we talk about an ancient history and a culture spanning thousands of years, but at the same time, we talk about a country that aspires to be strongly present in the future. Today's future is Artificial Intelligence, technology, and programming. Therefore, this initiative was not just a passing training course, but a strategic national project that shapes the features of tomorrow.

I chose to be a sponsor for this initiative based on my deep belief that the true wealth of Iraq is not oil or natural resources, but its youth. Youth who possess the minds and capabilities and only need someone to open the doors and extend a hand to them.

Brothers and sisters... What we witnessed during this first phase of the initiative confirms that Iraq is capable of competing globally. The Iraqi programmer is no less significant than any programmer in Silicon Valley; the only difference is opportunity, and today we are creating this opportunity and building the bridge that connects our youth to the world.

This initiative was not limited to training only; it planted confidence in the hearts of the youth, created a network of relationships and cooperation among programmers, and confirmed that collective work is the way to achieve accomplishment.

My young brothers... You are facing a great responsibility today. What you have received in terms of training and knowledge is not an end in itself, but the beginning of the beginning of a long journey of continuous learning, giving, and creativity. Iraq expects much from you, and your community places a great trust in your hands.

I invite you to carry this achievement as a message... A message that says Iraq is capable of rising again through you. Do not let despair creep into you and do not underestimate what has been achieved; every step, no matter how small it seems, is part of a large project being formed today.

In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks to the Al-Khwarizmi Center for Artificial Intelligence, to the team behind this initiative, and to every trainer and supervisor who contributed to its success. And I say to our youth: You are the hope, you are the dream, and you are the future... Through you, Iraq will write a new story titled creativity and progress.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

Project Case Study

Developing the Instant Beverage Sector: Al-Dallah Cafeteria Project

Dallah Logo

Al-Dallah Cafeteria

Authenticity of Arab Folklore with a Modern Vision

Project Idea

The activity of providing beverages on internal and highways has become a necessity in society, which is why various beverage carts have spread. Therefore, the local market needs to develop this activity and present it in a civilized way with a modern design inspired by Arab folklore, specifically the Arabic 'Dallah' (coffee pot). Iraq was the first to start manufacturing the Dallah, followed by the Levant, before it spread to other Arab countries. It symbolizes the generosity and hospitality of Iraqi and Arab tribes.

Project Goals

The project aims to provide suitable job opportunities and present ideas in a better way than those that have spread recently. We also aim to develop the idea following advanced countries such as 'Al-Buraij Cafeteria' in the UAE and 'Cup Cafeteria' in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, this trade opportunity within the Iraqi market must be exploited, and we aspire to develop the idea and bring it to international levels to present coffee as an Iraqi product, as Iraq possesses many new brands for coffee manufacturing.

Market Study

The study showed the Iraqi market's need for such projects, as they are characterized by providing hot beverage services at prices suitable for all segments of society, due to low operating costs and raw materials.
